[1] In game she would be looking for someone who is able to stabilize her. (The third person sample was actually an example of how she would handle the situation in game.) In the case of the MCU it is inconclusive as to if the serum would definitively always kill the host or if it is more of a potential sort of situation (personally I feel that going 'too hot' is an eventuality but the time frame is varying). Based on movie content The most dangerous stage and time when detonation is most likely is in the initial stages when the body is deciding to accept or reject the serum. Also, by the conversation which occurs between Maya Hanson and Aldrich Killian while Stark is a prisoner of them it seems more likely that the instability is more of a 'landmine' situation rather then a 'time bomb' situation (it is unpredictable when or if the host will go 'too hot' rather then there being a set time frame.)
There is quite a bit in regards to the MCU use of Extremis that is unexplained. I've recently been given a better site for MCU information then the one that I was using during the time of my app submission. That information can be found here. Sadly there isn't too much on it since the Extremis serum hasn't really been fleshed out yet in the MCU. I know that there is a lot of debate as to if the serum is something which needs to be regulated or not (some sites mention a need for regulation and others do not.) However it is possible to surmise that with how recent the bonding of the serum to her DNA occurred (Or how recently it was 'installed' into the 'empty slot' to use Killian's terms at the interview.) she would not need regulation for several months.
I've also spoken with the Tony in game's player and discussed it with them. I had been planning on applying for her per-stabilization before I discovered that there was a Tony in game and wanted to make sure that the player was alright with my bringing something that extreme in nature to the game in one of their cannonmates. Samm has said that Tony would work to stabilize her, but when I bring her into the game initially she will obviously have no knowledge of Tony being there and will immediately look for a biologist/scientist/DNA recoder to employ to stabilize her. Seeing as she has no actual money aside from what she will be given she would offer a trade situation and offer her PA/organizational skills in exchange for their working to stabilize her condition. Because the MCU has it as being a DNA altering serum akin to the supersoldier serum used on Steve Rodgers it would be conceivable to gain a general knowledge of the serum based on extracted samples of blood, plasma and tissue (which, in the face of blowing up Pepper would be more then willing to provide).
[2] My apologies, I'm a bit new to this type if system and again, the whole Extremis situation is muddy in the MCU cannon. I had made the agility so high with Extremis because of the scene on the barge and the fact that the Extremis enhanced combatants were literally hopping several feet into the air. That made it conceivably a superhuman ability to me rather then just a minor enhancement. Pepper's agility ranking without the serum is at a 5 due to the fact that she has been shown to stumble and lose her balance on many occasions, but those occasions were generally containing outside forces beyond her control (eg. Having just been surprised jumped by Iron Man to save her life or having a building falling apart around her). Any others that you need an explanation for please let me know and I'll either try to explain my reasoning or alter the number or both.
In regards to the strength numbers Pepper was able to rip the arm off and put a hole directly through the Mark VII. The suit is made of a titanium alloy and has been shown to take gunfire and quite a bit stronger attacks. It's built to hold up in most situations. Pepper ripped it apart like it was a piece of bread. She was also able to wield what can be assumed to be an exceptionally heavy (I think it was a mast) metal pole and swing it at a speed fast enough to throw the person it came into contact with several feet. I honestly do feel that strength would be a 10, but I will lower it to a 7 or 8 since you feel a 10 is too high.
Talents/Abilities: Pepper's strongest skill set is clerical, managerial, and organizational. She is the only person who can manage Tony Stark and the only one who can get him to do anything without force, coercion, or bribery.
(Clerical skills: 6/10
Organizational skills: 8/10
Managerial skills: 9/10)
Pepper is one of (it seems) the only people who Tony respects and trusts. She's oddly not afraid of anyone who is more powerful than she is. She's the sort of person who could (more than likely) stand down a God himself and still get him to file the right paperwork in triplicate. Pepper is fully capable of verbally dealing with anyone in power who she feels needs to be given a 'talking to'.
(Persuasion skills: 5/10
Persuasion skills when dealing with Tony: 7/10)
Pepper is capable of taking a lot of emotional stress before showing even the smallest crack in her professional face, and even then she does it with strength and dignity. It is only when she is with those she’s most comfortable that she will show how truly emotionally stressed out that she is.
(Empathy: 8/10)
Pepper recently joined the world of super beings when a man known as Aldrich Killian injected her with an experimental genetic rewriting process serum known as Extremis. The capabilities for Extremis are listed below and found on the Marvel Wiki.
Healing Factor:(10/10) The Extremis virus imparts incredible restorative capabilities upon the host organism, which was its primary original intention. Superficial wounds close over and heal completely in a matter of seconds, and severed limbs can take minutes to regrow, although particularly extensive damage- such as when Tony shot an Extremis-enhanced soldier through the heart with a chest repulsor- would not be healed.
Exothermic Manipulation:(With Extremis: 10/10) Hosts of the Extremis virus are able to consciously raise the temperature of parts of their bodies. The effect can be controlled to the extent that it might only scorch skin, or increased to the point where it can cause steel to turn into a molten state.
Superhuman Strength:
(With Extremis: 8/10)The Extremis virus enhances the muscular power of the host considerably. The extent appears to vary within marginal limits, but most have demonstrated the ability to hoist the weight of a human male effortlessly in one hand and hurl such a weight across a room, as well as engage the Iron Man armors in battle without weapons.
(Strength without Extremis enhancement: 3/10)
Enhanced Agility:(With Extremis: 7/10) The Extremis virus enhances musculature to become more powerful in its motion, granting the host marginally enhanced agility.
(Agility without Extremis enhancement: 5/10)
Even in cases where Extremis has bonded to the host (as in Pepper’s case) there is a potential for the compound to become unstable and detonate the host subject.
It should be noted that Pepper is not the sort of person to use her super powers if she can manage without them. More likely than not any use of her super abilities would be either in an accident or an emergency situation. In most situations she will rely on her more human abilities than anything else.
[3] Pepper started her time at Stark Industries in finance (like the original comic says) and spotted a mistake that Tony made in his calculations. For whatever reason, Pepper felt the need to point out the mistake to him personally. In order to get past his bodyguards she threatened to use Pepper spray on them. Her tenacity and determination as well as her intelligence impressed Tony so much that he made her his assistant and gave her the nickname 'Pepper' as a joke. This is how she ended up as his personal assistant.
Pepper brings these traits to everything that she does. Due to her being a strong 'alpha' type personality (and in my estimation most likely a Libra) she has a strong drive to be right. Because of this she has gained an incredibly strong work ethic and is often either in charge of things or the person organizing things in the background. This personality type also lends her to have difficulty 'unwinding'. Pepper rarely just enjoys things for the sake of enjoying them. She will often times be thinking twelve steps ahead of the current situation and organizing the next three steps while others are reveling in the triumph of what has just been accomplished. (This is something she has been told she needs to work on 'enjoying the moment' as it was termed.) Pepper isn't unhappy about this part of herself. In fact, she actually enjoys what she does and is happy with the person that she is. She enjoys planning things out and watching them develop just the way that she has planned them to. To Pepper, watching a perfectly executed plan is often times more enjoyable then going to a party and letting loose. This isn't to say that Pepper doesn't enjoy socializing. She enjoys it very much in fact; she simply is the type to enjoy a more controlled party rather than one that is out of her control. When Pepper is in a situation that is outside of her control she will do her utmost to regain that control and to calm everyone down.
When Pepper is truly upset or frustrated or flustered she tends to become more physically animated when she talks. She also tends to purse her lips together in a tight look that causes the small wrinkles to pull at the sides of her mouth. Pepper’s speech patterns tend to start to stutter more and she becomes very flustered. One could say that it’s almost as if someone has pushed a ‘reset’ button on Pepper and she has to ‘reboot’ before she can regain her composure and attempt to find her ground in the situation. Be that raking control again from the situation or relegating herself to the background and watching or even taking orders and removing herself from the situation altogether.
Pepper is not a technological savant like the people she works with and is generally surrounded by, but she's brilliant in a lot of other different areas and tends to focus on each one separately. Pepper is aware that she isn’t unintelligent, but she also knows that for her, it takes a lot of work to be able to understand those around her. While Pepper has learned quite a bit by being around Tony and the other super intelligent people at Stark Industries she knows that there is still much she has to learn. In her new position as CEO of Stark Industries she has learned to listen to the technological jargon that is spoken to her on a daily basis and pull out the important points. She is also not afraid to ask questions in regards to the things that they are telling her.
Because of all the time she spends around Tony and around Stark Industries Pepper also tends to thinks less of her intelligence then she might have if she were in a different company. In all honesty Pepper is highly intelligent in her own right, but there are different types of intelligences in the world and Pepper’s intelligence is very different from those employed at Stark Industries. The people that Pepper works with have a higher intellect in mechanics, bioengineering, theoretical physics … etc. then what would be found in a typical employment for someone like Pepper. Because of this she has an oddly skewed idea of her own intelligence. If one were to sum up Pepper in regards to her intelligence, that word would be humble. If asked she would say that she’s simply giving credit where credit is due (in the source of the inspiration, the hands that made it happen. To Pepper it’s rarely a one man effort, it’s collaborative and everyone who pitched in is responsible for the success.), but those outside of her would easily give her the credit for her efforts (unless that outside person was a brat).
One of the most interesting things about Pepper is how different her reactions are from what others would consider normal. When she’s happy the corners of her eyes crinkle and she looks as if she is about to cry. When she’s angry she looks stern and frustrated, and when she’s sad or depressed she oftentimes simply looks terribly confused. To Pepper, simple things can make her happy. Most prominent is being able to have a chat with a good friend. Pepper has the ability to make friends easily. She has an easy smile and is very expressive as well as a strong and just good listener. She invests herself in their lives and the conversations that she has with them. She’s the type of person who will remember your birthday after being told it once offhandedly and even send you a present on that day. She’s thoughtful, kind and caring in ways that extend beyond herself. She wants those around her to know that they are cared about and appreciated and she makes sure that they do know it.
Pepper oftentimes relegates herself to the background when making interpersonal relationships. She’ll make her connections with other ‘background people’ rather then making connections with the big names she comes in contact with. She understands that these people are just as important because she’s been one of them for over ten years. In regards to some she just genuinely enjoys their companionship; others it’s a matter of what needs to be done. Even if she isn’t pleased to be around someone she will do her utmost to react with professionalism and decorum. It’s often hard to tell if Pepper dislikes someone unless you know her body language and expressions well.
Pepper is the sort of person who does her best to hide her emotional upheaval. For Pepper, falling apart is something that you do in private, or only with those you truly trust and can let your defenses down around (for her there are approximately 2 people who she feels she could burden with her issues). Pepper will continue to keep a brave and false face in public until she is alone and able to simply fall apart. In some cases she will simply take a private moment to shatter away from the eyes of others before collecting herself back up again and moving on with things.
Pepper has been known to raise her voice, but I wouldn’t call it yelling. She takes on more of an angry parent tone or, as it’s often times termed a ‘mom tone’. It’s strong and forceful and raised above the normal speaking tone of voice, but it’s also not entirely screaming. She tends to do this during heated moments or when someone is being particularly stupid or reckless.
In her downtime (which isn't much or often) Pepper tends to enjoy quiet activities. Pepper honestly enjoyed curating Tony's art collection, which is why she was so upset when it was no longer available for her to curate. She tends to have a taste for the finer things in life as well, choosing to spend money on expensive clothing rather then on frivolous things like video games. This doesn't mean that she doesn't know how to save her money. She's very good at that actually. She will simply save for what she wants if she doesn't have the money readily available without having to dip into her savings fund.
[4] I'm a bit confused as to the typos, grammar and spelling errors. I thoroughly grammar and spell checked the entire document twice. I know that I am not the best speller, which is why I checked the document multiple times. I will re-submit the document to grammar and spell check again of course, before I submit it again. I am simply confused as to where you are finding the errors.
